The Pecan Trail PTO is dedicated to helping to provide staff and students with the best school environment and education that we can. Our efforts support the staff with funds that provide valuable resources for classrooms, teams and departments. We show our appreciation for all the hard work that the staff at Pecan Trail puts in, and the dedication to our children that they bring to the classrooms daily. We strive to enrich the educational lives of our students through financial support, volunteer hours, and educational experiences.
None of these things would be possible without the financial support of our wonderful parents, and sponsors. The Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser is a way for our students to get involved, and help us raise money for the benefit of all at Pecan Trail.
Registration and pledging are open NOW!
Pledging begins on October 16th. The Pep Rally will take place during WOW/Recess on October 21st. The Obstacle Run will be on October 30th.
While we love to have parents participate, the Pep Rally will be very short, and there are a lot of students to get into each session, so it may not be the best time for you to come. HOWEVER, we highly encourage you to attend the run on October 30th! Your support means a lot to the students, and since it is outside, space is unlimited! We will post the run times for each team as we get closer!
NO! This year, we have opted to go with a flat donation plan. There will be no "per lap" pledges. Everything will be a flat amount, a straight donation, and can be paid with a credit card when they input the donation online.
Yes! You can send cash or checks to school using a Boosterthon envelope, or any plain envelope. Please write student name, grade, WOW teacher, and WHO the pledge is from (especially if they entered the pledge online).

This year, each TEAM will automatically receive a check for 20% of their total net earnings!!! This money can be used by the TEAM however they see fit (with ADMIN approval), as long as it benefits all students on the TEAM.
The top TEAM in each grade level will receive a $500 BONUS added to their 20% total.
Our SCHOOL goal is $50,000 gross. Each TEAM has a goal of $8,334. If the TEAM makes their goal, they will be invited to attend a WOW/Recess bounce house party, courtesy of the PTO!
If we reach our overall goal of $50,000, we will add COLOR to the obstacle course run on 10/30!
In addition to our overall goal, we also challenge our students to get donations/pledges from all 50 states! Reward details coming soon!
We know that no fundraiser could be successful without the support of our staff! There will be several gift cards awarded to teachers throughout the week! First challenge: 100% class registration on funrun.com!
